Kim Il-sung, the founder of North Korea, was born on the same day the Titanic foundered, April 15, 1912.

Il-sung was one of the longest-ruling non-royal heads-of-state in the 20th century; in office for 45 years, 302 days. He was proclaimed “Eternal President of the Republic” after his death on July 8, 1994. #HistoryVille
