A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kogi State, Chief Anthony Ogah has commended the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for his unwavering commitment towards repositioning the state for rapid socio-economic development.
Chief Anthony Ogah, who is the Okakwu Chenimelum 1 of Ibaji Land gave this commendation in an interview with the SUMMIT POST in Abuja. According to him, the policies and programmes of the Alhaji Bello led administration have positively transformed the living standards of both the old and young in the Confluence state.
“Go round Kogi State today and you will testify that the last five years has brought tremendous turnaround to our state. Lives have been positively transformed. Youths have been empowered on all fronts to realise their God-given potentials. Before now, leadership was an exclusive preserve of certain class of people, which grossly marginalised the teeming Youths of the state. Today, the narrative has changed. In every facet of government endeavours in the state, the Youths have taken the driver’s seat to the admiration of all…,” the politician said.
He urged Governor Bello not to succumb to distractions and blackmails by the antics of power mongering elements in the state, who are bent tarnishing the sterling performances of his government. Chief Ogah particularly praised Governor Bello for running a ‘female friendly’ government. He explained that such gesture is rare in Nigeria, for women to be appointed Deputy in all the 21 Local Governments of the state is not a mean feat.
Chief Ogah prayed God to sustain, protect and give the amiable governor more wisdom as he strives to imprint his legacies on the sands of time. “Our Youth friendly Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello has demonstrated uncommon courage in piloting the affairs of the state. He has created a level playing field for all to achieve their full potentials. He has permanently laid to rest, the orgy of ethnic politics in Kogi State and has treated all parts of the state fairly. If you ask me, the ability to carry everyone along, irrespective of ethnic or party differences, is a mark of outstanding leadership capacity.”
Chief Ogah urged all Kogites of good conscience to re-affirm and redouble their support for Governor Bello’s administration. According to Chief Ogah, Governor Bello is protected by God himself because of the purity of his motives. He prayed to God pay back, in double, those planning evil for the Okene born Youthful Governor.
He seized the opportunity to thank the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pharm Jamil Asuku, for his undiluted support and unflinching service to His Excellency.
The philanthropist also commended Pharm Asuku for his personal concern for him (Chief Anthony Ogah), explaining that, people of Pharm Asuku’s conviction are very rare in our today’s society. He prayed God for more wisdom and direction for useful service to his boss, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello.
