In the midst of gloomy stories of rampant corruption, ineptitude, and poor attitude to work by public servants, the Kogi born Faith Momoh has clinched the highly converted Integrity ICON AWARD, beating over 10 000 other contestants.
Faith Momoh, a Nutrition Officer with Primary Health Care in Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State was nominated by an unknown person, which is a manifestation of the saying that, hardwork and dedication don’t hide.
Speaking with SUMMIT POST, Momoh said, “I don’t even know the person who recommended me, but I believe every hard work and dedication to duty pays.”
“I am passionate about my work as a health practitioner,” Momoh told SUMMIT POST.

Answering questions on her advice for other public servants, who may be paying lip service to their work, Momoh said, “My advice to all public servant is, any where or office you find yourself be diligent with your work    because you don’t know who is watching you.”
Faith Momoh went biblical to drive home her point with a quotation from Proverbs 22:29, which says “Seest a man who is diligent in his work will stand before kings and not before mean or obscure men.”
It would be recalled that in the process of selecting the eventual winners, online voting  was collected from around Nigeria.
The award presentation ceremony was done in Abhja on Thursday.

  2. Integrity really pays, you may be beaten, tormented and your family may be endangered, but put your trust in God, we will always be there for you. Just like FAITH MOMOH.
I’ve been following her on Facebook for a while now and have also watched her documentary on YouTube. It was a well deserved recognition.
    Congrats FAITH MOMOH.
