Kogi Deputy Governor, Onoja, Launches BAN, Describes Bello as a Frontline Achiever

Ahead of the 2023 presidency, Kogi State Deputy Governor, Chief (Dr.) Edward Onoja, Saturday, represented his principal, His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello at Official Launch of the Bello Ambassadors Network, BAN-event which held at the nation’s capital, Abuja.
Chief Onoja joined guests at the Merit House, Maitama for the Launch of the Network which in the coming months, would among other functions, earnestly seek to mobilise, coordinate and bridge communications between Yahaya Bello and the masses, support the Bello Presidential Team as well as prepare and administer outreach plans that provide the needed information to Yahaya Bello for Nigerians.
In his remark, Chief Onoja lamented that despite being genuinely blessed by God with enviable human and material resources, Nigeria is still in dire need of deliberate leadership to harness these potentials. He described Governor Bello as a young and successful individual who has achieved tremendous feats in academics, entrepreneurship and marital life which cements his anticidents of leadership by first-hand knowledge and experience.
He averred that, “the continued clarion call by Nigerians for my siamese twin-brother, Governor Bello, to chart the course of this nation is not surprising. For one, he has exemplified his role as Chief Security Officer of Kogi State by grounding crime and unabated insecurity which typically plagues the country. Over the years, I have grown to know him as not only a detribalised individual, but also a visionary whose zero tolerance for religious bigotry, ethnicity and class divides are worthy of emulation. According to him,  He has been breaking age long chains of ethno-.religious barriers and repacing them with bridges of synergy, respect and mutual respect in our dear State.
Chief Onoja praised the brain behind the creation of the Network, describing it as timely.
“I also appreciate the birth of the Bello Ambassadors Network and its vision to propagate the lofty strides of Governor Bello. It tells greatly of the realization of our teeming youths to become part of the drive for purposeful representation on the national scale and I find it commendable,” he said.
Chief Onoja however admonished the Network to stretch its target of 5 million members further, highlighting the 51 percent earlier achieved by the Party in former elections as a template. He stated that the future of the country rests on the shoulders of young individuals who form the critical mass of the country’s population.
He conveyed the warm regards of Governor Bello to the Network whom he says charges all and sundry to solidify their membership with the ruling APC in its ongoing Registration and Revalidation Exercise of which he is Chairman.
Earlier, National Co-ordinator of the Network, Anthony Edogbo, formally welcomed guests, noting that the creation of the Network is born out of the need to reduce the knowledge gaps and sell the potentials of Governor Yahaya Bello  across boarders. He noted the Network is duely registered with the Coperate Affairs Commission thus operates as legal outfit.
Highlights of the event were the formal cutting of ribbons to launch the Network, lectures on economic and political themes, entertainment, among others with the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Secretary to the Kogi State Government, the State’s Head of Civil Service, Commissioners, political appointees, APC Support Groups, Youth, Women and Student bodies as well as other Party faithful in attendance.
