Guardian Appoints Bridget Onochie As Abuja Bureau Chief

Guardian newspaper has appointed the veteran journalist and scholar per excellence, Dr Bridget Onochie, as its Abuja Bureau Chief. 
Information obtained by Summit Post News, Saturday, indicate that Dr Onochie obtained First and Second degree in Creative Arts from the University of Lagos and Doctor of Philosophy (PHD) from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, where she major in Gender and Development. 
Dr Bridget Onochie joined the Guardian newspaper in 2004, in Lagos. This appointment is coming at a time of serial wins for Nigerian women, especially, the recent emergence of Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala as the Director General of the World Trade Organization (WTO). 
From Summit Post News, it is garlands for the Amazon, Dr Bridget Onochie. We believe this appointment is well deserved because you have given 17 productive years to the Guardian newspaper.
