Five Nigerians, including the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila have been honoured as Commonwealth Society of Nigeria mark its Day. Others who were honoured are Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims, representing Ankpa, Olamaboro and Omala Constituency at the Green Chamber.
While receiving the award, Hon Halims said, the award is an added impetus for him to do more for humanity.
In a remark, the Chairman of the occasion and Chief Executive Officer of Eddinho Nigeria Limited, Chief Nnamdi Okafor called on all the relevant and well-meaning stakeholders to intervene to improve the quality of education in Nigeria.
Chief Okafor said that Youths participation in national and international matters is important because, through it, their talents are nurtured.
