PHOTOS: Niger State Govt Demonstrating Commitment To Gradual Transformation/Remodelling Of Health Facilities

Against the backdrop of the immense decay of health infrastructures, inherited by the administration of Governor Abubakar Sani Bello, ASB, it is commendable that he has been able to achieve a milestone.
Some of the General Hospitals in the state are currently witnessing major face-lift, remodelling, rehabilitation and resuscitation for the first time, since they were constructed some four to five decades ago.
Governor Sani Bello is recording huge landmark achievement in the Health Sector, hence must be commended. For instance, the Kontagora General Hospital like Minna General Hospital is undergoing remodeling, while plans are been perfected for the reconstruction of Suleja General Hospital.
It should be borne in mind that, in view of the economic downturn, which has drastically affected the volume of resources available to the Government, it has not such money to transform the health sector in one fell swoop. Hence, the decision of the Governor Abubakar Sani Bello led Government to adopt incremental approach or pro-rata resources. In which case, Government continues to reconstruct, rehabilitate and remodel as resource can accommodate per time, so, other sectors of the state economy is not starved of funds.
It is the democratic duty of citizens to demand government attention and intervention in critical areas of needs. However, when demands are done through spreading of half-truths or misinformation on the social media, it becomes a mischief, disheartening and very unfortunate.
