The Network and Advocacy Group of Lux Terra Leadership Foundation on Friday March 26, 2021, held an interactive session with a second batch of media executives, representing a cross section of print and broadcast outfits, as well as social media “influencers.”
This event is one more in Lux Terra’s programme line-up, aimed at dousing the the rising tension in the land, building the much needed consensus to advocate for justice, equity and social inclusion; promoting the management of diversities and conflicts through creative dialogue; and fostering mutual understanding and national integration.
The session which took place at the event hall of Lux Terra Leadership Foundation in Apo-Dutse, Abuja, was jointly moderated by Rev. Fr. George Ehusani and Mr. Lanre Arogundade, Executive Director of the International Press Centre.
The participants commended Lux Terra for this new initiative. And while acknowledging the very challenging environment within which the Nigerian media practitioner has to operate, they nevertheless expressed their commitment to the highest standards of journalism, and resolved to contribute their quota towards achieving the objectives of the Network and Advocacy group.
