Wike receives Kalabari Traditional Council

Gover Nyesom Wike, Friday, received the Kalabari Traditional Council in Port Harcourt. 
In a social media post, Wike said, “Yesterday, i had the honour of recieving the Kalabari Traditional Rulers Council, led by the King of Abonnema,  King Disreal Gbobo Bob-Manuel on an appreciation visit concerning the recently awarded Trans-Kalabari road.
Their visit was an opportunity to call on all well meaning Kalabari sons and daughters to take ownership of the Trans-Kalabari road project, ensure the security of the contractors, and collaborate to ensure its speady completion.
Building a phase of the Trans-Kalabari road is a promise i made during my campaigns, a promise I intend to fulfill. It is a major step in ensuring the entire Kalabari land is accesable by road. We have made the necessary financial commitements to see it through and God willing, we will achieve it.
