Kanye West’s ‘romance’ with Irina Shayk over as supermodel turns down Paris getaway

Kanye West ’s fleeting romance with Irina Shayk is reportedly over.

The 44-year-old rapper and the Russian supermodel, 35, sparked romance rumours last month when the pair were seen hanging laughing and giggling together on a stroll through Paris on Kanye’s birthday.

While fans had high hopes for the unlikely pair following Kanye’s divorce from ex-wife Kim Kardashian, Irina wants to ‘cool down’ their relationship, and has reportedly told the rapper that she only wants to be ‘friends’ from now on.

According to Page Six, the rapper recently invited Irina to attend a couture show in Paris with him, but the supermodel turned him down because she ‘doesn’t want a relationship’.

The insider revealed: “She likes him as a friend, but doesn’t want a relationship with him.

“She doesn’t want the association that they are dating, which is what would have run in the press if she showed up in Paris with him.

“It would have been another month of news saying that they are dating.”

After pictures emerged of the pair in Paris together last month for the rapper’s birthday, tongues were set wagging – much to the annoyance of Irina.

Although there were dozens of female friends there, the supermodel immediately got romantically linked to rapper even though she attended the event as his ‘friend’.

“She went to his birthday party as a friend. There were 50 other people there. She doesn’t want to be linked with anyone right now,” the source told Page Six.

Irina is reportedly ‘very happy’ being single right now, and isn’t looking to rush into a high-profile relationship with anyone.

The brunette bombshell hasn’t been linked to anyone since her split from ex-partner Bradley Cooper.

The pair called it quits on their romance in July 2019 after they enjoyed a love story that spanned four years.
