The governor made the declaration during a stakeholders meeting held in Uyo, where political leaders and party faithful gathered to deliberate on the state’s political direction ahead of the next general elections.
Eno said the decision reflects a collective commitment to continuity and stability, stressing that the current crop of leaders have contributed to governance and development across the state.
He described the emerging political alignment as “Akwa Ibom United,” a framework he said is designed to promote cohesion, reduce political tension and ensure a smooth electoral process.
