Gridlock on Apapa Road as Container Falls Off Truck ‎

A container fell off a truck and landed on its side at the roundabout near Fidelity Bank on Burma Road, Apapa, Lagos, causing a gridlock.

‎‎The incident occurred at about 8:10 a.m., when the truck was turning at the roundabout, according to a statement by the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) on Friday.

‎‎A backlog of vehicles stretched towards Mr Bigg’s, disrupting traffic movement along the busy road.

‎‎Traffic officers were at the scene managing the situation and directing motorists to ease the congestion.

‎‎Efforts are also underway to recover the truck and evacuate the container from the road, according to LASTMA.
