Haruna Abdullahi (Haruspice), 42 Others Bag Ejeh Ankpa Chieftaincy Titles

Ankpa, Nigeria – Celebrated author and communication strategist, Haruna Abdullahi, popularly known as Haruspice, is among 43 individuals set to be conferred with chieftaincy titles by the Ejeh Ankpa, His Royal Highness, Alh. (Dr.) Abubakar Sadiq Ahmed Yakubu II.

The announcement was made on 2nd January, 2023, in a press release signed by Rilwan Hamza, Chief Press Secretary to the Ejeh Ankpa. The chieftaincy titles and council appointments are in celebration of the Ejeh Ankpa’s two years on the throne and his successful coronation on 7th October, 2023.

Abdullahi, recognized for his outstanding contributions to Ankpa’s development, will be bestowed with the title of Oma – Eju Ejeh Ankpa (Ga’aku). The press release highlights the achievements of all 43 individuals, emphasizing their dedication and service to the community.

Other notable recipients include:

HRH. Alh. Yusuf Ahmed Yakubu, who will be named Amana Ejeh Ankpa (Aboh)

Engr Abbas Yakubu, to be appointed Waziri Ankpa – (Zaaaki)

Rt. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims, who will receive the title of Talban Ankpa – (Zaki)

His Excellency, Sen. Prince Bassey Otu, Governor of Cross River State, to be conferred with the title of Achema Ejeh Ankpa – Edeeh.

The Ejeh Ankpa acknowledges the significant contributions of these individuals to Ankpa’s progress and prosperity. These titles and appointments reflect the Ejeh Ankpa’s commitment to recognizing and honoring those who have made a positive impact on the community.

The ceremony for the conferment of chieftaincy titles and council appointments is expected to take place soon. This event is a significant occasion for Ankpa, marking the celebration of its rich culture and heritage while recognizing the individuals who contribute to its growth and development.
