“Leticia Ejendu has been appointed as one of the 3 Chief Business Officers, within the new CBO structure. She will oversee the other regions pending the appointment of the other two CBOs. Her appointment takes effect immediately,” the AEDC management said.

In a like manner, Ibem Idika

In his remarks, the AEDC Actg MD/CEO said, “Please join me in congratulating all on their new appointments, especially Godfrey Abah and Leticia Ejendu, who have been promoted from within, showcasing our commitment to employee growth.

“I strongly believe that their appointments will strengthen our executive management cadre and add significant value to the company’s strategic objectives,” adding that
further announcements would be made as they fill up all the critical roles while urging everyone to remain committed and dedicated to working towards making AEDC the leading distribution company in Nigeria.

While wishing the new management the best of luck, the AEDC boss expressed the hope that the new changes in management would provide windows of opportunities to take AEDC back to its place of pride.

AEDC began operations and business of power distribution in the month of November, 2013 as one of the 11 electricity distribution companies (DisCos) initially licensed to operate in the country’s post-privatisation era.

Within the ten years of operation, AEDC which now has its 6th head in the present Acting MD/CEO, Victor Ojelabi, has had a checkered outing in that on one hand, it recorded some landmark achievements, even as it still has a lot to do going forward to overcome the challenges, in the areas of management, service delivery and customer satisfaction, metering, revenue optimisation, billing and collection efficiencies, ATC & C losses among others.
