Salma Yunusa, a native of Ajagwumu in Dekina local government of Kogi State, was
on Tuesday 12th March, 2024 in Biaji, Kubwa area of Abuja, stabbed to death by a single mother of two, Immaculate Chukwudi who lives in the same compound with Salma and her elder sister Bilikisu Yunusa.
Argument ensued from spreading of clothes on a rope fixed by the deceased’s elder sister which degenerated into Immaculate Chukwudi taking a knife and stabbed the deceased in the presence of many neighbours.
Salma died on the way to Kubwa General Hospital.

Under interrogation by the police, the culprit, Immaculate confessed to the crime. She’s currently in police custody in Kubwa, while the corpse was buried yesterday in Ajagwumu, Dekina local government.
The elder sister of the deceased is calling on the public and human rights organisations to help her sister get justice.
