The Zinariyan of Lokoja, Dr Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu has congratulated the governor of Kogi State, Usman Ododo on his victory at the Tribunal.
The Kogi State Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja on Monday dismissed the petition of the candidate of the Social Democratic Party, Murtala Ajaka for failure to provide sufficient proof to support his claims and demonstrate the material facts of his petition, as required by the law.
The Tribunal therefore upheld the gubernatorial election that resulted in Ododo’s victory.
Dr Aliyu in her congratulatory message, expressed confidence that Ododo’s victory would result in success for the people of the state.
She said, “Congratulations to Governor Usman Ododo, on your victory at the Tribunal.
“Your commitment to the development and progress of our beloved state is evident, and I am confident that your continued leadership will bring about even greater achievements.
“As you continue to lead Kogi State, I pray that God grants you wisdom, strength, and guidance to navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead.”
