Blessing Jibromah, a talented Nigerian singer, is set to attempt a Guinness World Record for the longest singing marathon, seeking to surpass the current record of 105 hours held by Indian singer Sunil Waghmare.
“I am thrilled to announce my ambitious endeavor to break the Guinness World Record for the longest singing marathon. This record-breaking event promises to be a spectacular showcase of endurance, talent, and community spirit,” Jibromah said.
The marathon, scheduled for July 27th to August 2nd, 2024, will begin at 9AM at Unique Park Gardens, Sky Memorial, Zone 5, Abuja. Jibromah aims to sing continuously for 144 hours, shattering the existing record and putting Nigeria on the global stage.”I am driven not just by the challenge itself but by the potential benefits it can bring to Nigerians. Successfully breaking the record would inspire countless young Nigerians to pursue their dreams, no matter how ambitious they might seem,” Jibromah emphasized.
