As celebrate a momentous occasion, today, we pay tribute to a distinguished son of Igalaland, Abdullahi O. Haruna Haruspice, who tomorrow, June 21st, shall be conferred with the prestigious title of Oma Eju Ejeh-Gaaku by His Royal Highness, Alhaji Abubakar Ahmad Yakubu II, the Ejeh Ankpa.
Abdullahi Haruna, a communication professional, publisher, and social media influencer, has made significant contributions to the growth and prosperity of Ankpa, Igalaland, and Nigeria. His exceptional dedication and service have made him a beloved son of Ankpa and a cherished friend to the community.
The title of Oma Eju Ejeh-Gaaku, which means “Eje’s eyes,” is a testament to Haruna’s invaluable status in the community. His nomination has been applauded across all quarters, and his well-deserved addition to the list of honourees has added an extra layer of significance to this occasion.
As we celebrate this achievement, we also honour the memory of Haruna’s late mother, who passed on eight years ago. The reception on Saturday, June 22nd, at the Ochimane Compound, Ofudu Imane, Olamaboro LGA, Kogi State, will be a fitting tribute to her legacy.
