Comrade Abimaje Prophet, a leading aspirant for the Dekina Chairmanship primary election under the Social Democratic Party (SDP), has pledged to redefine governance and leadership for enhanced community service, emphasizing accountability and transparency.
“I understand the challenges facing our families and communities, and I want to build a Dekina that works for everyone,” Comrade Abimaje said while addressing SDP local and ward executives in Dekina town.
“We will work hard with other stakeholders to build a stronger Dekina where everyone has equal opportunities to enjoy the dividend of democracy, especially to live safely, acquire quality education for our children, provide jobs for the youths, and access affordable healthcare.”

Comrade Abimaje, a homegrown politician born and raised in Aloko, Oganenigu, emphasised his commitment to serving the people-centric SDP and the good people of Dekina as Chairman of the Local Government.
The SDP local government Chairman, appreciative of Comr. Abimaje’s visit, promised party support for a fair level playing ground for all aspirants in the forthcoming primary elections.
