The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Taraba News Television, Gabriel Olayinka has commended President Ahmed BolaTinubu for granting him License to operate Taraba News TV, the First 24-Hour private TV Station in Jalingo.
In a statement signed by himself and issue to newsmen in Jalingo, the MD/CEO, expressed his profound gratitude to the President for granting him License to operate.
The statement reads, “I am delighted to announce that President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has granted a license for the establishment of Taraba News TV, which will operate under a brand name to be announced at a later date.
“Today, I am pleased to have received the license on behalf of the Board of Taraba News Agency at the National Broadcasting Commission in Abuja after meeting all the requirements.

“I sincerely appreciate His Excellency, the Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas, and the Honourable Commissioner of Information and Re-orientation, Barr. Zainab Usman Jalingo, for their support and encouragement.
The statement said that the station to be located in Jalingo, the Taraba State Capital, is set to begin broadcasting on January 1, 2025.
