Hope Ambassadors for Peace in Africa Initiative has joined the rest of the world to celebrates International Day of Rural Women marked annually by the United Nations Organization.
The group said the theme of this year -Rural Women Sustaining Nature for Our Collective Future: Building Climate resilience, conserving bio-diversity, and caring for land towards gender equality and empowerment of women and girls – is a clear call to every stakeholder in the fight against Climate Change that women are key players as they are essential in conserving nature’s goodness for the benefit of all.

Hope Ambassadors for Peace in Africa Initiative therefore advocated women empowerment, especially those in rural environment.
“This is one of the core mission of the Organization and the Organization has been carrying out several empowerment of women and girls in rural communities.
Some of such empowerment are,” the group said.
