Embrace Unity, Resilience, Rep Paul Gowon Haruna Urges Constituents in New Year Message

Rep. Paul Gowon Haruna IJN, representing Bassa/Dekina Federal Constituency, has sent a heartfelt New Year’s message to his constituents, urging resilience and unity in the face of challenges. “As we step into 2025, I extend my warmest wishes to you and your families,” Haruna said, reflecting on the constituency’s journey and progress made despite difficulties faced in the past year.

Haruna expressed pride in the resilience and determination of his constituents, stating, “In the past year, we have faced trials that tested our resilience, but through unity, courage, and unwavering faith, we have continued to make strides toward progress.”

He acknowledged that the past year had not been without its challenges but emphasized that the constituency’s ability to come together and support one another had been a key factor in their ability to overcome these obstacles.

The lawmaker also emphasised the importance of unity and inclusivity, saying, “Our strength lies in our diversity and our ability to stand together for the good of our communities.” He encouraged his constituents to continue working together towards their shared goals, stating, “I call on all of us to embrace unity and inclusivity as we pursue shared goals.”

In addition to emphasizing the importance of unity, Haruna also reiterated his commitment to prioritizing the welfare, growth, and empowerment of his constituents. “My unwavering commitment remains to your welfare, growth, and empowerment,” he assured. He outlined his plans to prioritize education, healthcare, infrastructure, and economic opportunities, stating, “Together, we will prioritize these key areas to ensure a better future for all.”

Haruna concluded his message by wishing his constituents a happy and prosperous new year, saying, “May 2025 bring renewed hope, abundant blessings, and transformative progress to every household in Bassa/Dekina.”

He encouraged his constituents to step into the new year with faith, hard work, and a shared vision for a better tomorrow, stating, “Let us step into this year with faith, hard work, and a shared vision for a better tomorrow.”
