Nigerians Have Rejected Your Principal, Stop Interfering In Rivers Politics – PDP Chieftain Replies Atiku’s Aide

Crisis Rocks FCT PDP As Non Indigines Accuse Party Leadership of Nepotism, Marginalization

A very vocal Chieftain of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and National Leader, Concerned PDP League, a pressure and advocacy group in PDP, Comrade Daboikiabo Z Warmate has replied to Atiku’s aide statement on his X (formerly Twitter) and Facebook handle that, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, is a Peller in Rivers State politics.

Comrade Warmate said former Governor Nyesom Wike has never been rejected by Rivers people but rather loved.
Recall In a post shared on his official handle, Olarewaju stated that Siminalayi Fubara, the Governor of Rivers State, has recently broken free from Wike and his “Abuja-based” allies.

It reads, “Let there be no confusion: Fubara may have been elected Governor through Wike’s manipulations but only achieved that position through the will of the people. No one challenges their political godfather unless they have the people’s support, and Rivers has evidently rejected Wike and his small circle of Abuja-based Rivers politicians.

While the people and their leaders spoke, it took a man willing to listen and act. Sim Fubara listened to his people, defied powerful forces, faced armed thugs and compromised security agents throughout the day, and fought to defend his mandate, ultimately earning his own legitimacy.”

But swiftly reacting in a post also shared on his official handle, comrade Warmate, lampoon Atiku and his aide Olarewaju for saying Rivers people have rejected the FCT Minister. He took a historical journey into the political history of PDP and Nigeria presidential primary and election respectively to educate Olarewaju and expose Atiku’s political misadventures to buttress his points that, Atiku Abubakar is truly the rejected one.

He said, just as Atiku failed to mention that, Moses did not enter the promised land when he described Governor Fubara as the Moses who has liberated Rivers people, Olarewaju failed to tell Nigerians that, Atiku Abubakar is truly the rejected one because he failed six times in his presidential bid.

He wrote, “”I read with sarcastic laughter what Demola Olarewaju, the Special Assistant on Digital Media Strategy to the former vice president & two times Presidential Candidate of PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, said; It’s very clear that Olarewaju is bereft of knowledge of Rivers State politics because, Nyesom Wike has not been rejected by Rivers people but loved by them & him and his allies are not Abuja based politicians.

According to him, what’s interesting about all this is that, just as his principal, Atiku’s aide failed to tell Nigerians, that he was rejected by 3 political parties & Nigerians namely: Social Democratic Party (SDP) in 1993, People Democratic Party (PDP) in 2006, 2011 & 2014, & the All-Progressive Congress (APC) in 2014, and by Nigerians in 2007, 2019 & 2023.

‘PDP & Nigerians have also rejected Atiku Abubakar, in advance of the 2026 PDP presidential national convention & 2027 general/presidential election’ He said.

And just to remind Olarewaju that, his principal is the only PDP presidential candidate that has given ‘our great party the worst election results’, Comrade Warmate cited the following elections results;
