The Kano State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Ibrahim Waiya, has reaffirmed his dedication to improving the dissemination of government information as part of his ministry’s core responsibilities.
Waiya made this commitment during a dinner hosted by the Renaissance Coalition in honor of himself and the Commissioner for Public Procurement, Projects Monitoring, and Evaluation.
In a statement released by Sani Yola, the Director of Special Duties for the Ministry of Information, Waiya underscored the critical role of effectively communicating the state government’s developmental projects and citizen-centered policies to enhance the quality of life in Kano.
“The Ministry of Information will actively collaborate with the Renaissance Coalition, acknowledging them as a vital partner in driving the success of the administration and advancing the state’s progress,” Waiya stated.
The commissioner’s remarks highlight the administration’s emphasis on transparency and community engagement to foster trust and ensure public awareness of ongoing initiatives.
