Zacharias placed 50 Students on 3 years Scholarship in College Of Education Ankpa
Member representing Idah Federal Constituency and Chairman of the House Committee on Safety Standards and Regulations Rt. Hon. David Idris Zacharias, has demonstrated his commitment to education and community development in Idah Federal constituency by awarding scholarships to 50 students at the Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa.
The scholarship program covers both tuition fees and accommodation for a period of three years, easing the financial burden on the beneficiaries and their families.
The presentation of the scholarship awards was carried out by Mr. Rilwanu Momoh, the Senior Legislative Aide to Rt. Hon. Zacharias, during a formal event held at the college chambers.
During the event, the scholarship beneficiaries expressed their profound gratitude to Rt. Hon. Zacharias for his remarkable generosity and support. Many of them highlighted how the intervention will enable them to focus on their studies without the worry of financial constraints. They also prayed for his continued success, divine guidance, and protection in all his endeavors.
The Provost of the Kogi State College of Education, Assoc. Prof. Mohammed Kabir, alongside other members of the college management team, also praised the Honorable Member for his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to the welfare of his constituents. They acknowledged that the scholarships would significantly impact the lives of the students and encouraged Rt. Hon. Zacharias to continue with such commendable initiatives.
