The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) rescued five individuals injured in an accident involving a commercial bus and a Toyota Highlander on the Third Mainland Bridge on Tuesday.
The crash, which occurred near the University of Lagos Waterfront, briefly disrupted traffic towards Adeniji. LASTMA General Manager, Olalekan Bakare-Oki, confirmed no fatalities and commended good Samaritans for assisting in the rescue.
The injured received immediate medical attention, while the vehicles were quickly cleared to restore traffic flow. Bakare-Oki urged motorists to adhere to safety measures, including speed limits and vehicle checks, to prevent avoidable accidents.
