The Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce (NACC) is set to host a high-profile economic summit in February, aimed at strengthening business relations between Nigeria and the United States.
In a statement, the NACC announced that the event, themed ‘2025 Economic Outlook for Nigeria’, will serve as a platform for discussions on economic trends, trade policies, and investment opportunities that shape cross-border business engagements between the two nations.
The summit will delve into key economic indicators such as Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth, inflation, interest rates, employment, and consumer spending, providing insights for business leaders navigating Nigeria’s economic landscape in 2025.
NACC National President, Sheriff Balogun, will lead the discussions, while Tola Adeyemi, Managing Partner at KPMG Professional Services, will deliver the keynote address. The event will also feature Dr. Nneka Okekearu, Director of the Enterprise Development Centre at Pan-Atlantic University, as the moderator.
Beyond economic discussions, the summit will also celebrate excellence in Nigeria’s creative industry. Veteran Nollywood actor Richard Mofe-Damijo will be honored with the Creative Industry Legend Award for his outstanding contributions to the country’s entertainment sector.
According to the NACC, the event is expected to provide a comprehensive outlook on Nigeria’s economic trajectory and offer strategic guidance for businesses looking to optimize opportunities in the evolving global market.
With key stakeholders from both the public and private sectors in attendance, the summit is poised to foster dialogue, strengthen partnerships, and reinforce Nigeria’s position in international trade and investment.
