Pam Bondi Promises Full Release of Epstein Files Amid FBI Withholding Claims

Attorney General Pam Bondi has assured the public that the full collection of Jeffrey Epstein-related files will be released, despite criticism over the initial document drop.

On Thursday, her office published around 200 pages of material, including flight logs from Epstein’s private jet, a redacted contact list, and a completely blacked-out list of masseuses. However, the release failed to include major new revelations, leading to backlash.

Bondi has accused the FBI of holding back thousands of pages of documents, demanding in a letter to newly confirmed FBI Director Kash Patel that all remaining materials be handed over by Friday. Speaking on Fox News, she reaffirmed that the American people would see everything, while also promising declassified files related to the assassinations of John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr.

“We will get everything. We will have it in our possession,” Bondi said. “The American people have a right to know.”

Despite the promises, the document release has faced significant criticism, even from conservatives. Some, including right-wing media figures, slammed the rollout as overly controlled and lacking meaningful new information. A group of MAGA influencers showcased binders labeled The Epstein Files: Phase 1 outside the White House before the Department of Justice made the documents available online.

Florida Representative Anna Paulina Luna, who leads a congressional task force focused on declassifying federal records, expressed frustration. “THIS IS NOT WHAT WE OR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ASKED FOR,” she posted, demanding full transparency.

Many of the files included in the first release had already been made public in past lawsuits, court proceedings, and Freedom of Information Act requests. In January 2024, the final batch of documents related to Virginia Giuffre’s lawsuit against Epstein was unsealed, further fueling skepticism about the latest release.

Bondi remains firm that more documents are coming, positioning herself as a champion of transparency under former President Donald Trump. However, whether the upcoming releases will contain genuinely new revelations—or continue to frustrate those demanding the full truth—remains to be seen.
