Trevor Rees-Jones, Bodyguard to Princes William and Harry During Princess Diana’s Fatal Car Crash, Dies

Trevor Rees-Jones, the former bodyguard who was with Princes William and Harry when their mother, Princess Diana, died in a car crash in Paris, has passed away.

Rees-Jones was just 23 years old at the time of the tragic accident in 1997 and was one of the few survivors.

Rees-Jones, who later became a security expert, often spoke about the events leading up to the crash. In his book, “The Bodyguard’s Story,” he recounted the moments before the accident, saying,

“We were driving at a speed of around 60-70 mph, and I was sitting in the front passenger seat.” He also described the moments after the crash, recalling the chaos and confusion.

After leaving royal service, Rees-Jones pursued a career in security and became a successful expert in the field. He often reflected on his time with the royal family, saying,

“It was an honor to serve the Royal Family, and I’ll always cherish the memories I made during my time with them.” Rees-Jones’ dedication to his work and his commitment to protecting the royal family were evident in his actions, and he was widely respected for his professionalism.

Rees-Jones’ death has sparked an outpouring of tributes, with many remembering his bravery and dedication to his work. His legacy as a devoted protector of the royal family will be remembered for years to come. “Trevor was a remarkable individual who served the Royal Family with distinction,” said a spokesperson for the royal family. “Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.”

As news of Rees-Jones’ passing spread, many took to social media to pay their respects. Fans and colleagues alike shared their condolences, praising Rees-Jones for his service and his commitment to protecting the royal family.
