…Say Justice Will Be Pursued with Resolve

In a State-wide broadcast Wednesday morning, Muftwang said:

“We will not accept this culture of bloodshed as the new normal,” Governor Muftwang said in a state-wide speech. “Plateau shall not be overrun by fear.”

The governor revealed that security deployments are being reinforced and Operation Rainbow is being restructured to support community stabilization efforts.

Grazing of cattle is strictly prohibited, and transportation of cattle by vehicle is banned after 7 pm. The use of motorcycles is restricted from 7 pm to 6 am across the state until further notice.

Community-based response systems are being activated to reactivate local vigilante groups and organize night patrols in coordination with security agencies.

The governor also announced that all hospitals in the region will provide free medical treatment to victims and relief supplies are being dispatched to affected communities. A fact-finding committee will be constituted to investigate the root cause of the violence and offer recommendations.

“I urge calm, vigilance, and solidarity,” Governor Muftwang said. “Report suspicious movements, cooperate with law enforcement agents, and reject retaliation. Justice will be pursued with resolve.”

The governor expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his concern and support, and appreciated national and state management agencies for their prompt response in providing emergency aid and comfort to survivors.

The governor’s measures aim to restore calm and strengthen vigilance across the state, and he reassured citizens that justice would be pursued with resolve.
