Thousands of Indonesians gathered outside the US embassy in Jakarta to protest the ongoing Israeli military operations in Gaza.

The demonstrators demanded an immediate end to the violence and condemned the role of the United States in supporting Israel.

The protest drew a crowd of around 3,000 people, many of whom carried signs and banners calling for peace and freedom for Palestine. Messages like “Free Palestine,” “Stop bombing Gaza,” and “We support Gaza” were seen throughout the demonstration, reflecting the deep frustration and anger over the war’s human toll.

Protesters voiced their belief that continued US support for Israel is fueling the conflict and contributing to the suffering of civilians in Gaza. They described the war not only as a political conflict but as a humanitarian disaster that requires urgent global attention and action.

The marchers urged the international community to take a stronger stance to end the blockade on Gaza, stop the military operations, and work toward the end of Israeli occupation. The protest was peaceful but powerful, with participants from different walks of life joining together in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Organizers of the demonstration also called on the Indonesian government to step up its role in international diplomacy. They pushed for stronger efforts at the global level to seek justice and peace for Palestine and bring attention to the urgent needs of those affected by the war.

The protest in Jakarta reflects a growing international outcry over the situation in Gaza, with citizens across many countries demanding an end to the bloodshed and increased accountability for those involved.
