The Centre for United States Immigration Services (CFUIS), a well-known legal firm specializing in American immigration law and global workforce mobility, has opened a new office in Nigeria.
This move is designed to connect African talent, businesses, and families with opportunities in the United States, offering support through expert legal and mobility services.
The expansion is led by Nigerian-American lawyer Dr. Martins Imudia. With years of experience in U.S. immigration law, Dr. Imudia is committed to helping individuals and organizations navigate the often complex immigration system. Through the new office, CFUIS aims to provide support for everything from permanent residency applications to business relocation and international expansion.
Based in Tampa, Florida, CFUIS has several offices across the U.S., including in Miami, Jacksonville, and Orlando. Its services range from employment and family-based immigration to deportation defense and consulting on moving staff internationally. The Nigerian branch is set to become a key access point for clients across Africa who are looking to enter the U.S. market or explore new global business opportunities.
Dr. Imudia brings a deep connection to Nigeria. Born in Oza-Nogogo, Delta State, he has built a reputation not only as a lawyer but also as a business leader and philanthropist. He leads Siotoh Holdings, a business group that includes ventures like Siotoh Academy and Otawise Technologies. His work focuses on innovation, entrepreneurship, and creating practical solutions for economic growth.
Beyond his business interests, Dr. Imudia is passionate about humanitarian efforts. He runs the Imudia Foundation, which helps vulnerable communities by providing access to healthcare, improving infrastructure, and supporting social projects. His recent work includes co-founding Oza Invest Limited, a company that promotes economic development in his hometown.
One of his latest projects involves a partnership with the Delta State Government to create a vocational school under Siotoh Academy. The goal is to tackle unemployment by offering young people job-ready skills that can lead to long-term stability. The school has opened registration and is already preparing to train a new generation of skilled workers.
According to CFUIS, this expansion into Nigeria goes beyond legal services. It represents a long-term vision to empower individuals through education, create community-based solutions, and foster stronger economic links between Africa and the rest of the world.
Dr. Imudia believes that with the right support and resources, people across the continent can lead on the global stage. He sees CFUIS’s presence in Nigeria as a step toward unlocking global possibilities and inspiring a new generation of leaders with the skills and confidence to succeed internationally.
