Justin Bieber has responded to online speculation suggesting he may have been a victim of Sean “Diddy” Combs, as disturbing details continue to emerge from the hip-hop mogul’s federal sex trafficking trial.
A representative for Bieber told TMZ on Thursday that the singer is not among Diddy’s alleged victims. “Although Justin is not among Sean Combs’ victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him,” the rep stated. “Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve.”
The speculation followed the resurfacing of videos from 15 years ago showing Bieber and Combs making public appearances together while Bieber was still a teenager. Some clips, now viewed in a darker context, include comments from Diddy referencing private time with Bieber. However, sources close to the pop star emphasized that these appearances were “performative” and that no inappropriate relationship occurred. Bieber was reportedly friends with Diddy’s sons, not the rapper himself.
In one 2009 clip, Diddy said he was taking the then-15-year-old Bieber “to go buck full crazy” for 48 hours, and in 2011, he joked on Jimmy Kimmel Live! about things they did together that shouldn’t be discussed on national TV.
These comments have resurfaced as Diddy faces serious charges, including sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transporting individuals for prostitution. In court this week, his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura gave graphic testimony, detailing years of alleged abuse, coercion, and manipulation during their relationship.
Diddy, who was arrested in September 2024, has denied all accusations. The trial continues.
