Liverpool have completed the signing of Dutch international Jeremie Frimpong from Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen.
The 24-year-old finalized his transfer on Friday after passing a medical and putting pen to paper on a long-term deal at the AXA Training Centre.
Frimpong joins the Premier League giants following a standout spell in Germany, where he played a key role in Leverkusen’s historic 2023-24 campaign. The right-sided wing-back helped guide the team to an unbeaten domestic season, winning both the Bundesliga title and the DFB-Pokal. His energetic displays earned him a spot in the Bundesliga Team of the Season for two years in a row.
The move came swiftly once Liverpool showed interest. Frimpong made it clear that he was eager to make the switch to Anfield, quickly instructing his agents to seal the deal.
