The Rivers State Government has sanctioned the appointment of 11 new Permanent Secretaries aimed at fortifying the civil service.
This announcement was made by the Office of the Head of Service on Tuesday, 3rd June 2025. The appointees include Imaonyani Roselin Ephraim-George, Dr. Mina T. Ikuru, Dabite Sokari George, Soibitein Duke Harry, Lauretta Davies Dimkpa, Uche R. Ideozu, Chimenum Mpi, Jeremiah Egwu, Nicholas Iminabo Wokoma, Vera Sam Dike, and Aleruchi Akani.
His Excellency, Vice Admiral (Rtd.) Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas, CFR, the Administrator of Rivers State, approved these appointments as part of a strategy to improve governance and administrative efficiency.
A statement from Dr. Mrs. Inyingi S. I. Brown, the Acting Head of Service, confirmed that the new Permanent Secretaries will be sworn in by the state Administrator at a future date yet to be announced.
