Two women who reported being drugged and raped have revealed that their assaults took place within a single day of each other.
The offender, a Chinese national, was jailed for life in June with a minimum term of 24 years after being convicted of raping 10 women in both the UK and China between 2019 and 2023.
One of the women, using the name Rachel, met the man for drinks in October 2022 before being driven to his villa in Dongguan, China.
She said she was given an alcoholic drink that left her unable to move, then was raped while barely conscious.
Records and messages show she tried to call a friend for help, but her phone was taken and her friend was told she was asleep. Rachel later said she felt trapped and too afraid to report the crime at the time.
Just hours after leaving Rachel home, he met another woman, known in court as Female D. She was also drugged and raped, with the assault recorded on video.
She later testified that she was unable to escape until the following morning. Evidence from the recordings helped secure his conviction.
Investigators described him as one of the most dangerous sexual predators they had ever prosecuted.
Police fear he may have attacked many more women than those formally included in the case. Since the trial, at least 24 additional women have come forward in both the UK and China.
Court records show he researched sedatives and date-rape drugs, purchased chemicals online, and even attempted to build hidden cameras to film victims.
When police searched his London flat, they discovered recording devices and video evidence of the attacks.
Detectives say the investigation remains open and are considering further charges. Survivors have spoken about the deep trauma they continue to face, with feelings of fear and guilt that linger long after the assaults.
