One standout individual who garnered widespread recognition during the event was Ben-lutnaan Duamlong, a graduate from the Department of Fine and Applied Arts. What made his accomplishment truly remarkable was not just his outstanding academic performance, but also his age. At 69 (70 years old now), Ben-lutnaan Duamlong became the oldest graduate from the University of Jos, earning the admiration of both his peers and the academic community.
With a remarkable cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 4.32, Ben-lutnaan Duamlong not only emerged as the best graduating student in his department but also left an indelible mark on the university’s history. His dedication to his studies and unwavering commitment to excellence were praised by all, including the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Tanko Ishaya, who took a special moment to recognize his outstanding achievement.

‘s accomplishments extend beyond the academic realm. Prior to his pursuit of higher education, he had the honor of serving as a coach for the Super Eagles of Nigeria, demonstrating his exceptional leadership skills and passion for sports.
