Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, has ordered the suspension of the Commissioner for Health, Alhaji Yunusa Musa Ismail, citing alleged negligence and failure to meet official obligations.
The decision, announced through a statement from Government House, takes immediate effect.
According to the statement, the Governor has directed the suspended commissioner to submit explanations as to why further disciplinary measures should not be taken against him.
His suspension will remain in place until the conclusion of an official review that will determine the final outcome.
