Arsenal have confirmed their finalised squad for the first half of the 2025-2026 Premier League season following the closure of the summer transfer window on September 1, 2025.
The Gunners’ roster consists of two separate lists: a main squad of 21 players and an additional list reserved for U21 players and scholars, regardless of nationality.
Manager Mikel Arteta has supplemented the squad with nine players eligible to represent the Nigerian national teams.
The group includes goalkeeper Khari Ranson; defenders Josh Nichols, Cam’ron Ismail, Josh Ogunnaike and Samuel Onyekachukwu; midfielders Ethan Nwaneri and Ife Ibrahim; and forwards Andre Harriman-Annous and Daniel Oyetunde.
All nine players are products of Arsenal’s renowned Hale End Academy, with Ranson, Nichols, Ismail, Nwaneri, Harriman-Annous and Oyetunde on professional contracts, while Ogunnaike, Ibrahim and Onyekachukwu began the second year of their scholarships in July 2025.
Among the Nigeria-eligible players, only Nwaneri, Nichols and Harriman-Annous have been called up for Premier League matches.
While Nichols and Harriman-Annous are yet to make their top-flight debuts, Nwaneri has featured in 29 matches, scoring four goals and providing two assists.
The Anglo-Nigerian midfielder made history when he became the youngest player ever to debut in the Premier League on September 18, 2022, aged 15 years and 181 days.
