The First World Public Assembly (WPA) is garnering significant global attention with more than 200 journalists and representatives of the blogosphere accredited to cover the event. Correspondents from Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America are part of this group, representing countries like Algeria, Gambia, Egypt, India, Russia, Venezuela, and others.
These accredited media representatives include those from public and private TV channels, news agencies, online publications, socio-political magazines, press secretaries of public organizations, and bloggers.
The WPA focuses on the idea of “A New World of Conscious Unity.” Andrei Belyaninov, Secretary General of the World Peoples Assembly, emphasizes the importance of unity and cooperation in shaping this new world.
“A new world begins where unity is established, where differences are not intimidated, but respected, where values are higher than differences, and cooperation is stronger than rivalry. The new world is a matter of common efforts. And it is being created here and now — together with you,” said Andrei Belyaninov.
The event is expected to draw on the participation of 4,000 registered individuals. Over 40 discussion platforms are scheduled for September 20 and 21, covering a range of topics including culture, education, science, youth policy, religious dialogue, social responsibility of business, tourism, sports, and media.
The Assembly’s press center is receiving requests for interviews with key speakers. Foreign media are showing interest not only in experts from their own countries but also in opinion leaders from other participating states.
