The 20th edition of the Abuja International Trade Fair (AITF) is already gathering momentum as exhibitors on the ground have begun attending to a steady flow of shoppers trooping into the fairground.
On Saturday, the President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), Chief Emeka Obegolu, SAN, PhD, alongside the Director General, Mr. Agabaidu Jideani, toured the exhibition stands to interact with exhibitors and assess ongoing activities at the fair. Their presence further energized participants, who expressed optimism about the opportunities the 12-day event holds.
Exhibitors showcased a wide array of products and services, many of which are being offered at discounted rates to encourage patronage. From household items and fashion pieces to agricultural products, technology, and services, the fair provides a unique platform for businesses to connect directly with consumers and partners.
Some exhibitors who spoke with the ACCI media team expressed satisfaction with the pace of activities so far. They noted that although the fair had only just commenced, they were already witnessing encouraging visits from shoppers. They added that, judging by the turnout, the level of patronage is expected to increase significantly as the days go by.
The AITF, which is marking its 20th edition this year, has continued to serve as a major hub for trade, investment, and networking, bringing together local and international businesses under one roof.
With the growing excitement at the fairground, visitors are encouraged not to miss the opportunity to explore the wide range of innovative products and services on display. The fair also offers exciting side attractions, including a children’s corner, raffle draws, and a fashion runway scheduled for the coming days, all designed to make the experience more entertaining and memorable while delivering value, connections, and lasting impressions.
