The Resident season Pastor of Salvation Baptist Church No 1 Magami, Jalingo, Rev. Isaac Sankun, has disclose that financial stability is essential for sustainable Church vision and kingdom work.
He made the disclosure during his official welcoming as a Pastor of the Church held at the Church.
“A Financial stability Church is a Church that is position to meet spiritual and social needs effectively. A church can serve God’s purpose both locally and beyond.
“As a Church, we must continue to uphold the Biblical principles of faithful stewardship, sacrificial giving and transparent financial management.
He pointed out that the goal of the Church is not to amass wealth, but to empower the Church to fulfill it’s divine mandate without hindrance.
“We shall continue to cultivate a culture of accountability in financial dealings and ensure that every contribution is wisely managed for the advancement of God’s work.
“We shall also explore sustainable income generating initiatives, encourage members towards financial literacy and strengthen our commitment to mission, benevolence and community development.
Rev. Sankun reaffirm his commitment to the divine assignment to the service of God’s people by accepting the call letter from the Salvation Baptist Church.
“In this next phase of ministry, our focus will be on building a spiritual vibrant congregation, one that is deeply rooted in the Word of God, steadfast in prayer, passionate in worship and active in evangelism. We shall intensify our emphasis on discipleship training, home fellowship and mentorship programs that nature believers into spiritual maturity.
He disclose that he will continue to refine the leadership structure, strengthen committees and ensure that all departments and fellowship operates with clearly defined roles, transparent communication and measurable goals.
“A well structured Church is not a bureaucratic one, rather it is a church where order promotes progress and where every member finds a place to serve meaningfully. We will sustain the reforms already initiated and develop new models for church governance that align with the Baptist principles.
“Our Sunday service, Bible studies and prayer meetings will continue to serve as platform for encountering God, receiving instructions and equipping the saints for effective service – he said.
In his message, the Guest Speaker, Rev. Moses Sufa, who spoke on the Topic: Giving to Ministers unlock of God’s blessings overflow took his scriptural reading from 2 Kings 4:4-17, emphasize the need of giving to the Ministers of God, adding that such attracts Blessings from God.
“God open ways that are locked when you give out. Many are were they are today because they give, while others remain were they are because they don’t give.
“Touch the Minister of God physically and God will bless you both spiritual and physically. Because you have not opened the door, that is why you are still were you are.
“People will be jealous of you because you are giving and your life changed. When you touch people ‘s life, they bless you and God bless you also.
“When you touch the life of a minister, your life changes – he said.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the Church Dcn. David Jaden, appreciated God and pray that God should strengthen the Pastor while carrying out his assignment.
He assured the pastor of their support. “We are all here to support you through out your stay in the Church – he said.
