ECOWAS Partner With Nellyval Group on Youth and Sports Development in Nigeria

In its significant gesture to promote sports development in the country, the management of Nellyval Group has gone into partnership and strategic intent, with the ECOWAS Youth & Sports Development Centre (EYSDC).

The Nigeria Unconquered Foundation (NUF) disclose this during a courtesy visit to the Apapa office of Nellyval Group.

The delegation was received by Executive Director Dr. Goodness Anele, on behalf of the Chairman Mr. Valentine Anele opened the dialogue for partnership formally. Her leadership signal and vocal commitment to engaging the group in high-impact initiatives amplifies Nellyval’s transition from purely commercial operations to a role in civil-society and regional development.

According to the Executive Director, Nellyval Group is a diversified conglomerate with Nigerian roots and a global outlook. Founded over a decade ago, the firm operates across multiple sectors including logistics, oil & gas, international trade, bonded terminals, warehousing, consultancy and business services.

Anele used the medium to highlight key operations of the organization to include, Logistics & Freight, end-to-end cargo coordination by air, sea and land for clients across Africa and beyond, Oil & Gas Downstream which the company’s oil & gas arm focuses on petroleum trading, marketing, distribution and retail.

Others according to her are, warehousing and distribution of state-of-the-art bonded terminals, secure storage and advanced inventory systems to support import/export and domestic supply chains, International Trade Facilitation of import/export documentation, customs clearance, export compliance and global trade enablement.

“This breadth of expertise positions Nellyval Group not only as a commercial leader, but as a strategic partner for organizations and initiatives seeking reliability, scale, reach and infrastructure.

By choosing to approach the company for collaboration, the ECOWAS YSDC/NUF delegation underscored the company’s standing as a major corporate partner capable of supporting large-scale regional initiatives, Alignment of vision inclusive sports agenda of the ECOWAS Para Games aligns with Nellyval Group’s values of empowerment, reliability, and impact beyond business alone and Opportunity for strategic collaboration – During the meeting, discussions centred on how Nellyval Group can play a role as host partner, logistic/operational enabler, and media/visibility supporter for the Para Games initiative.

“Both parties agreed to establish a working framework to define Nellyval’s role in the forthcoming ECOWAS Para Games, establishing logistics and warehousing support for athlete gear, transport, and event materials, Leveraging Nellyval’s media/communications platforms to amplify the inclusive-sports narrative, Exploring sponsorship, mentorship programmes, and athlete development initiatives within Nigeria and the West African region and Crafting a timeline and deliverables ahead of the Games’ launching phase.

“The collaboration with Nellyval Group now forms part of a wider landscape of public‐private‐civil society alliances needed to deliver meaningful, sustainable regional programmes – she said.
