In a resounding demonstration of servant-leadership, Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada has once again affirmed his deep commitment to the people of Nasarawa West and beyond, this time by donating a brand-new Sharon vehicle to the Nurudeen Society of Nigeria, Keffi Branch.
Presenting the vehicle on the Senator’s behalf, former Chairman of Keffi Local Government Council, Alhaji Idi Dansuaka, said the hour has come for the well-to-do to give back to society by supporting the less privileged. The gesture is yet another shining example of the Senator’s consistent and visible support for grassroots organisations.
This donation is not an isolated act but part of a broader pattern of transformational democratic dividends that Senator Wadada has delivered across Nasarawa West—and indeed the whole of Nasarawa State. Through education, health, infrastructure, empowerment, and welfare programmes, the Senator has shown that true political leadership is measured by what one gives, not just what one promises.
Not long ago, the traditional authority of the State likewise honoured him for his service. The Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage (retired Supreme Court judge and Chairman of the Traditional Council of Nasarawa State) conferred upon Senator Wadada the title “Dagajin Danjin Lafia,” recognising his extensive grassroots impact in sectors such as education, health and infrastructure. This honour stands as a testament to his trustworthiness and the depth of his influence across cultural and societal divides.
It is worth recalling some of the key interventions implemented under Senator Wadada’s leadership:
In the last eighteen months, he distributed cash and items worth over ₦1.5 billion to his constituents, installed approximately 478 solar street-lights, constructed around 28 classroom blocks, and completed the installation of around 20 units of 500 kVA transformers across the senatorial district.
He donated medical equipment (including neonatal incubators, oxygen concentrators, lab centrifuges and more) to ten general hospitals across Nasarawa West.
During the recent Sallah season, his welfare distribution (rams, food items, clothing) reached thousands of widows, orphans, persons with disabilities and under-privileged households in all five local government areas of Nasarawa West.
On 10 October 2025, at a ceremony at the Keffi Polo Ranch, Senator Wadada donated official vehicles to the legislative arms of all 13 local government areas in Nasarawa State, along with cash support for operational readiness.
On Youth Day 2025 (November 8), he pledged youth inclusion and donated a vehicle plus ₦5 million to the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Nasarawa State Chapter, underscoring his commitment to the next generation of leaders.
Leadership of a state demands more than rhetoric—it demands visible action, consistent delivery and unwavering integrity. Senator Wadada’s record clearly demonstrates that he not only has the vision, but also the track-record to lead Nasarawa State into its next era of growth and prosperity.
Few politicians in the state today can match the scope, depth and sincerity of Senator Wadada’s engagements. While many merely promise, he delivers; while others act selectively, he covers broad‐based segments of society—women, youths, religious groups (both Muslim and Christian), farmers, market traders, infrastructure in rural and urban areas alike.
The recent donation of the Sharon bus to the Nurudeen Society of Nigeria, Keffi Branch – a religious organisation committed to the welfare of its community – is emblematic of his inclusive approach. It underscores a simple yet powerful philosophy: those who are blessed must serve others; those who occupy power must deploy it for the good of all.
As the governorship horizon of Nasarawa State draws near, leadership is indeed a serious business—not every aspirant possesses the combination of experience, grassroots touch, administrative competence and moral standing. On all these counts, Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu stands out as the true person who has the requirement to lead the state to the next level after Governor Engineer Abdullahi Sule.
For the people of Nasarawa State, the choice is clear: a candidate whose record is visible, whose heart is with the people and whose life is in public service—not self-service. Senator Wadada continues to walk the talk, building bridges, delivering results and empowering communities. In him, we find a leader who listens, acts and transforms.
In the weeks and months ahead, as the campaign intensifies and the voices of Nasarawa State’s voters grow louder, the nation must weigh the evidence. Senator Wadada has shown that when he says ‘service’, he means service; when he says ‘development’, he means results; and when he says ‘people’, he means you and me. Let the people of the state rally behind the only service-driven candidate with deliverables, vision and integrity—Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu.
