Taraba State Executive Council, all commissioners and top cabinet officials under the administration of Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas have defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The move follows closely on the heels of Governor Kefas’ own plans to officially declare for the APC on Wednesday. The defection was confirmed in a statement by Barr. Zainabu Usman Jalingo, Commissioner for Information and Re-Orientation, after the State Executive Council meeting earlier today.
This marks one of the most comprehensive political realignments in the state’s recent history.
