The lone member of the opposition Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly (ERCC), Mr. Solomon Yakubu Akwashiki (Mr. Project), has donated a vehicle to the Evangelical Reformed Church of Christ.
Akwashiki, who represents Lafia Central Constituency, made the donation during the closing ceremony of this year’s Triennial Convention of the Church at ERCC Mount Sinai, Lafia, on Sunday.
The closing ceremony was attended by the 2023 presidential candidate of SDP, Prince Adewole Adebayo, and the member representing Karu/Keffi/Kokona Federal constituency in the National Assembly, Rep. Gbefwi Jonathan Gaza.
Other dignitaries in attendance included the Director-General of Nasarawa Geographic Information Service, Chief Sonny Agassi, and the Commissioner of Land and Urban Development, Barrister David Sule Moyi.
The 2025 Triennial Convention of the Evangelical Reformed Church of Christ (ERCC) featured teachings, sermons, songs, ordination of pastors to reverends, promotion of reverends to very reverends, and presentation of awards, among others.
