Grassroots politician in Nasarawa State, Senator Philip Aruwa Gyunka, has notified the All Progressives Congress (APC) of his intention to join the party with immediate effect.
Senator Gyunka, who represented Nasarawa North in the 8th National Assembly, made this known in a letter dated November 21, addressed to the chairman of the party in his Gwanje ward of Akwanga Local Government Area.
According to him, he brings his wealth of political experience and winning strategies and assured the party that his contributions will be a valuable asset to its growth and success.
He also announced that a large number of his supporters across the State who share his vision and values are joining the ruling party alongside with him in solidarity.
The former lawmaker, who described himself as a seasoned politician with a proven track record of delivering wins, said he’s ready to put his skills and experience at the disposal of the party.
“I am confident that my leadership and strategic thinking will help strengthen the party’s presence in the State and beyond,” he said.
“I look forward to the opportunity to discuss my membership and the details of my transition with the party leadership. I await your prompt response.
“Thank you for your warm welcome, and I look forward to joining the APC family, the letter reads further.
