‎Nagatecho 98 Heritage Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization of the class 1998 of the Ebira Community Secondary School in partnership with Serenity Healthcare Limited, has extended free medical care to students and staff of Ebira Community Secondary School in Ogaminana.

‎The initiative, which catered to students , teachers, retirees and residents of the school community was praised for addressing critical health needs at a time many struggle to access quality medical services.
‎
‎Retired Director of Education and former principal of the school, Mr. Bernard Ehusani described the outreach as a major relieve for members of the community.
‎
‎He noted that beyond consultations, beneficiaries received health education on hypertension and diabetes, diagnostic tests and essential medications, all at no cost.
He thanked the organisers for investing their resources and expertise into improving community wellbeing.
‎
‎A retiree of the National Iron Ore Mining Company (NIOMCO) Mrs. Sefinat Omeiza, also applauded the project, saying the outreach team provided respectful and compassionate care rarely found in conventional hospitals.
‎
‎She emphasised that beneficiaries were not charged a fee, commending the organisers for bearing the full financial burden of the exercise.
‎
‎Speaking on behalf of the Nagatecho 98 Heritage Foundation, the Medical Team Lead, Pharm. Ohida Aminu, said the group made up of 1998 class of the school was established to support both its members and the larger society.
‎
‎He revealed that the outreach, like all foundation activities, was funded solely through contributions by members with no external sponsorship.
Aminu encouraged other alumni groups to emulate efforts by the class of 1998.
‎
‎The immediate past President General of the schools’ old students association, Sani Yakubu Opene hailed the programme as another milestone for the 1998 set, recalling their prior donation of quality textbooks during the school’s 50th anniversary celebration.
‎
‎The outreach delivered medical screenings, health education and free medication to students, staff and members of the host community, reinforcing the foundation’s growing reputation for impactful community service.
