The Senator representing Kogi East, Distinguished Senator Jibrin Isah (Echocho), has confirmed the approved site for the construction of a 20-bed clinic in Omedo Ajogobi, Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi State.
A delegation led by Alhaji Akpa Omale visited the Palace of the Onu Ankpa, Alhaji Abdulmalik Umar, to formally announce the Senator’s readiness to deliver the health project.
Alhaji Omale said the clinic is part of Senator Echocho’s ongoing effort to expand essential infrastructure and improve access to quality healthcare in underserved communities, noting that Omedo Ajogobi has long required such a facility.
Responding, the Onu Ankpa, Alhaji Abdulmalik Umar, expressed appreciation to the Senator for prioritizing the wellbeing of his people. He offered prayers for a smooth execution of the project and pledged the full support of the traditional institution.
Both the Senator’s team and representatives of the Palace inspected and confirmed the designated site for the construction.
Work is expected to begin in the coming days, and the clinic will be fully equipped on completion to meet the healthcare needs of residents of the area.
