2 Attackers Killed As Hoodlums Loot Rock FM 92.3 Corporate Hqtrs In Jalingo

People suspected to be hoodlums have looted Rock FM 92.3 Radio Stations in Jalingo Taraba State Capital.
In a statement signed by the Director of Operations, Ahmad Umar Gassol said that the hoodlums came in late hours of Friday 21st July, 2023.
The statement reads:
“We wish to bring to the notice of the general public that our Corporate Office at Malam Joda Area of Jalingo was looted by hoodlums in the late hours of Friday 21st July, 2023 into the early hours of Saturday.

“The hoodlums descended on our office premises carting away several items.

The  statement further said that the CEO, Oloye Ayodele Samuel was in one of the offices and at the verge of being attacked but was rescued without any injury due to the joint intervention of the DSS and the Nigerian Army in response to a distress call.
“The raid has left our CEO traumatised, although grateful to God and the security operatives for their timely intervention in which two of the attackers didn’t make it alive.
The statement mentioned some of the items carted away by the hoodlums to include, Two  LG Television (43 and 50 inches), Three UPS (3kva and one KVA), 8 channel Digital Audio Mixer
and Five computer Monitors. Others are, One compact Dell system (all in one), Four Microphone stands, Four Computer hybrid CPUs, 5kVA Generator, Bunch of wires, including VGA and HDMI cables, Computer Keyboards, Two ways Monitor speakers, Bag of broadcasting connectors and headsets, Sets of Office Chairs and An air bed.
“We want to seek public cooperation in recovering these items as they are critical to our operations.
We appeal to the general public to kindly report anyone found with these items to the nearest security agency and in the same vein implore the general public to be security conscious and report suspicious activities in your neighbourhood.
“We want to thank everyone for the sympathy, prayers and well wishes since the ugly incident and also to assure you of our unwavering devotion to serving the good people of Taraba state the statement concluded.
